Designed for early-career artists working with music or sound, this program provides two artists or bands with free access to the recording and mixing studio to develop a music or sound project at Woods Street Arts Space in Laverton.

We have extended the deadlines for two creative opportunities: SOUNDSTEP Studios artist-in-residence program and the Airtime flags.

Soundstep offers emerging musicians and sound artists aged 18 to 30 working a chance to use a recording studio above Woods Street Arts Space to develop their work.

Airtime is a unique outdoor exhibition opportunity for young artists (ages 12 to 25) at Altona Meadows Skate Park.
