Victoria’s leading legal graduates have been recognised through the Supreme Court Prize and Exhibition Prize.

The Supreme Court Prize honours the highest-achieving law students from eight Victorian universities, while the Exhibition Prize recognises the most outstanding Honours theses.

The awards were presented on 18 August at a ceremony in the Supreme Court Library, attended by family, friends, judicial officers and university representatives.

The Court of Appeal will livestream the Erin Patterson appeal hearings on 19 and 20 August, commencing at 10.15am each day.

The appeals are:
• an appeal by the Director of Public Prosecutions against the sentence imposed
• an appeal by Erin Patterson against her convictions (the guilty verdicts from the trial).
