🏈 The NFL is heading to Melbourne, and with all the hype comes plenty of ways to bet, from bonus bets and same-game multis to live betting during the action.

Before kickoff, set your budget and stick to it. Bonus bets aren't free money, multis can be harder to win than they look, and live betting can make it easy to keep chasing the next play. The smartest play? Knowing your limits before the game starts.

This R U OK? Day, check in on your mates, especially if you’re worried gambling might be causing them harm.
You might have noticed they’re spending more time or money gambling, chasing losses, or seeming stressed about their finances.
Start a conversation. Listen without judgement. Let them know you’re there to support them.
You don’t have to fix everything, just showing a mate they’re not alone can make a difference 💛

The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission has released Strategy 2029, which sets our direction for the next 3 years.

Built around our purpose to regulate Victoria's gambling industry to uphold integrity, safety and fairness for all, the strategy outlines how we will respond to a changing gambling environment and meet increasing community expectations.

Strategy 2029 focuses on 4 outcomes:
▪ Focus on where gambling harm happens
▪ Identify risk and act early
▪ Hold industry to account for its legal obligations and social licence to operate
▪ Embed a connected, capable and empowered VGCCC team

Over the next 3 years, these outcomes will guide how we target gambling harm, identify and respond to emerging risks, maintain industry accountability and strengthen organisational capability.

Strategy 2029 provides a clear framework for how we will deliver on our purpose and improve outcomes for communities, industry and Victoria's gambling regulatory system.
