Want to try something creative, fun, and totally different this school holidays? 🎤🔥
Join our beginner-friendly Freestyle Rap Workshop and learn how to turn your thoughts, ideas, and energy into music, rhyme, rhythm, and spontaneous lyrics!

Led by local artist Nico Lim (Flash Poetry), with support from Melbourne-based artist Carmen Thea, this workshop is all about:
- improvising over beats
- finding your voice
- getting creative with words
- building confidence
- breaking through creative blocks
- having fun with music and expression

No experience? No worries. Freestyle rap is about jumping in, trying things out, and discovering what you can create in the moment.

If you love music, writing, performance, or just want to try something new, this is your chance to get inspired and express yourself in a supportive space.

Join our beginner-friendly Freestyle Rap Workshop, a school holiday program designed for kids and young people aged 12–25 to explore music, rhythm, rhyme, improvisation, and self-expression in a fun and supportive environment.

This workshop is the perfect chance to:

- get creative with words and beats
- build confidence through improvisation
- explore expressive and musical storytelling
- break through creative blocks
- discover new ways to share ideas and voice

Freestyle rap is all about spontaneous expression over music — and it’s fun, accessible, and easier than you might think. No experience needed!

Proudly Q is a welcoming space for LGBTQIA+ young people, those who are questioning, and allies to connect, share experiences, and support one another.

This fortnightly program offers a safe and inclusive space to:
✨ connect with others
✨ learn new skills
✨ feel part of a community

Session topics will be shaped by you, giving you the opportunity to get the most out of Proudly Q. We’ll always have activities, helpful information, access to resources, and of course free snacks 🍪

We’ll be running two age-specific programs:

👥 Ages 15–25
