The School Project

The School Project The School Project is an initiative from National Homeless Collective, providing essential school items to children displaced by domestic violence.

Children who need to leave home suddenly due to domestic violence usually leave with very few personal possessions. Sometimes it can be extremely difficult to return home to retrieve necessary items, including school backpacks and school supplies. The School Project aims to make sure all Victorian children displaced by domestic abuse have access to school items, so they can continue to attend scho

ol and complete homework tasks with as minimal disruption as possible. Children deserve and have a right to continue with their education despite their family circumstances, and they deserve to do this with the right tools. Working in partnership with Women's Housing Limited, Launch Housing Victoria and several other key organisations, children displaced by domestic abuse will have be provided with the necessities to continue their schooling and homework. Melbourne Homeless Collective is registered charity. All financial donations over $2 are tax deductible. If you'd like to financially support the continuing education of a child who can no longer live at home, please donate to
