Met Tram (MTA / PTC Tram and Bus Division) This is a page for former Met Tram (MTA / PTC Tram and Bus Division) people to meet. The division operated both trams and buses.

Also, photos and videos from Met Tram and Bus operations are welcome on this page. The Metropolitan Transit Authority - Tram and Bus Division was formed from the old Melbourne and Metropolitan Tramway Board in 1983, and merged with sister transport autority, the State Transport Authority in 1990 to form the Public Transport Corporation. To prepare for privatisation, the Trams and Buses were later split into "Met Tram" and "Met Bus". Met Tram then operated in the mid to late 1990s, before becoming Swanston Trams (later M>tram) and Yarra Trams. The trams now operate as one private company again as Yarra Trams.
