It was fantastic to see so many turn up with their coats, umbrellas and hats to walk today. While it was a bit wet at times it didn’t dampen the conversation or the beauty of the trail in the rain.

Thank you to our guest walkers, Anita and Julia from
Eastern Community Legal Centre. (ECLC) Carers received updates on some of the services and had the opportunity to ask all sorts of questions. For more information about ECLC visit https://eclc.org.au/

We appreciate the strong involvement and support from Yarra Ranges Council. We are lucky to have Jenna, Disability Inclusion Officer, who keeps us up to date with news on what is happening around the shire.

We enjoyed a delicious hot drink and muffin from Billy Goat Hill Brasserie and generously funded by Community Bank Mt Evelyn

✨Let's talk about the NDIS on
Thursday 18th June 10.00am -12.30pm (free booking required)

Carers, join us for this tailored and informative session with Mike from My Sunshine Disability Services.

Mike will cover some of the key challenges that can be experienced when advocating and supporting someone with their NDIS plan.



There will be a general NDIS - Q and A component of the workshop, and Morning tea.

Carers will have the opportunity to submit general NDIS questions to Mike prior to the session.

There is no such thing as a silly question and your thought may assist another carer, in our lovely group.
