Our school has been transformed over the past two years with a new culture, curriculum and many new staff. We focus on excellence and enabling every child to reach their best. We believe that every child has a gift, a particular skill, a special something that can make a difference – to their own

lives, to the lives of those around them and to the future of our world. Our school is growing, but class sizes are small and there is a very personal approach to each child’s learning. It is an exciting time of growth and change for our school and there are many more exciting initiatives planned.

Exciting times ahead for Hamish, Rhys, Katie and Hamish as they prepare to spend Term 4 at the Snowy River Campus of the School for Student Leadership.

Over eight weeks, our students will take on a range of adventure activities, develop and deliver projects, and strengthen their leadership skills while embracing the many opportunities that the program has to offer.

Scoresby Secondary College has maintained a strong partnership with the School for Student Leadership since its inception in 2006, and we know this year’s team will represent our school with enthusiasm, energy and pride.

We wish Hamish, Rhys, Katie and Hamish an incredible eight weeks of learning, adventure and growth!

Bookings are now open via Compass for Semester 2 2026 Learning Conferences!

Learning Conferences will be held on Tuesday 1 September, from 12:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Students are expected to attend their Learning Conference with their parent(s) or guardian(s).

Recently, six Year 10 students represented Scoresby Secondary College at the annual MUNA United Nations assembly.

They were given the country India to represent and then participated in a whole day model UN assembly at Lyndale Secondary

Prior to the event, our students met weekly to discuss politics, resolutions and human rights. They researched and prepared speeches, critically thinking and acknowledging differing perspectives.
