TEQSA has blocked another 61 commercial academic cheating websites, disrupting the operations of illegal commercial academic cheating services which target students.

Blocking illegal academic cheating service websites is part of TEQSA’s multi-pronged approach to protecting the integrity of higher education awards.

A list of blocked websites is available at:

TEQSA has an opportunity for students to share their voice, help shape a better higher education sector and gain valuable advocacy skills.

Our Student Advisory Panel is a new initiative which looks to gain insights into your lived experiences as a student in Australia’s higher education sector. We’re looking for 8 to 10 students with diverse experiences and backgrounds. Panelists will be initially appointed for a 1-year term and will then be invited to express interest in extending their term for a second year at the conclusion of the first year.

The panel will meet 4 times each year to discuss what’s going well, what isn’t working, and what could be done to improve higher education in Australia.

Sharing your lived experience is valuable and students selected as panel members will be paid an honorarium for their time.

If this sounds like an opportunity you, or someone you know, would be interested in, head over to 👉 elliottgray.com.au/TEQSA

For this week's Good Practice Monday we're highlighting TEQSA and ASQA's Dual Sector Strategy.

The strategy, released last year, outlines a 3-year program of work focused on:

👉 improving information sharing and collaboration between the agencies
👉 optimising the alignment of regulatory processes and evidence requirements where practical
👉 supporting providers to strengthen governance and responsiveness to industry needs.

It reflects TEQSA and ASQA's shared commitment to tertiary harmonisation and reducing administrative burden and compliance duplication for providers.
