We are the peak body for 400 Neighbourhood Houses and Community Centres across Victoria. COMMUNITY USE RULES

We aim for our social media channels to be safe and respectful online spaces for all community members to participate with and enjoy. To achieve this, Neighbourhood Houses Victoria will remove certain comments, as soon as they come to our attention, and remove users who continually non-comply. Neighbourhood Houses Victoria proposed a partnership for the Registration Rebate, which would have funded our work in helping community access the rebate.

They rejected the proposal, and told us there was no funding available to assist community members who face challenges with digital literacy, digital access, language barriers and more. They are expected to apply via the website or app, or miss out on the rebate.

We think that is incredibly unfair and a poor effort from the State Government, with horrible outcomes for both our most vulnerable community members and our already underfunded Neighbourhood Houses.

Please let your local MP, Ingrid Stitt MP and Luba Grigorovitch MP know that our community deserves better!
