Language matters - especially when it comes to child sexual abuse. Calling it what it is centres the harm caused to children and young people.

At Stop It Now! Australia, we are committed to using accurate, respectful language in everything we do. Child sexual abuse material is exactly that - abuse. Not po*******hy.

We're proud to support Project Paradigm Australia's practical guide, "It's Never Too Early," designed to help parents and carers (including expectant families) start and continue conversations about child sexual abuse prevention with confidence.

The guide covers what constitutes child sexual abuse, practical tips for starting conversations, and guidance on responding to disclosures or seeking support - available as a written guide, audiobook, or video.

Community education and early intervention are essential to keeping children safe. This resource is a valuable part of that work.
