Today, our students set sail with Echo the Gecko’s Great Sea Adventure! Through this fun and interactive concert, students explored the sounds of strings, woodwind, brass and percussion while singing, clapping, dancing and joining in with the story. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to experience the joy and magic of live music, with plenty of laughs and musical discoveries along the way. A big thank you to WASO and the performers for an entertaining and memorable experience!

A huge thank you to all the families who joined us for last night's Bricks & Burgers event! 🧱🍔 It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces, lots of laughter, and families enjoying time together. 🎉😊

A very special thank you to Miss Winmar and Miss Criddle for the enormous amount of planning, organising, and hard work that went into making the event such a success. 🌟👏

Book Week 2026 – Symphony of Stories

Last week, Medina Primary School came alive for Book Week! Our students celebrated their love of reading with a special author visit from Meg McKinlay, Leadership Team Read Alouds, and our “Read Anywhere, Anytime” Reading Photo Challenge.

We wrapped up a wonderful week with our whole school Book Week Parade, where students and staff brought their favourite book characters to life!

A huge thank you to our families and staff for helping make Book Week such a fun and memorable celebration of books, imagination and storytelling!
