Wellbeing Week – Day 3 was exceptionally busy!
Year 7, 8 and 9 students attended Consent Workshops, and Year 7 spent a period with our Youth Engagement Officer, Senior Constable Glenn, who spoke about rights and responsibilities under the law.
We wore our jerseys with pride, and the Student Wellbeing Awareness Team provided jelly cups for the entire school.
The best news of the day was that staff have achieved a 5-peat, defeating Year 12 in the annual volleyball competition! We do wonder if the staff will ever be beaten. 💛💚
Tomorrow is RUOK Day. Students can accessorise their full school uniform with yellow accessories. 🌟

Introducing Bilby - Barbara's boy born today around 12pm. A very long and drawn out labor (starting at 8am yesterday)for Barbara, who is now exhausted....and so is Ms Ruis, Renee Taylor and Lesley Taylor . Ms Ruis is forever grateful for Renee and Lesley's help. All 3 had little sleep last night and spent today ensuring both Bilby and Barbara were well cared for. Bligh Park Veterinary Clinic were very helpful, offering advice and treatment, and were on call if things did not work out. More photos tomorrow when everyone has been well rested!

Today, we wore our PJs, Oodies and Hoodies for Day 2 of Wellbeing Week. Year 10 participated in the Level Up program which focused on self-worth and positive relationships. The handball competition was super competitive as always. Congratulations to Malachi for taking home the top prize. A special mention to Mr Dunn who made it to the quarter finals.
Tomorrow we will be wearing our favourite jerseys with school uniform.
The Colour Run is on Friday, students must have signed permission via SchoolBytes to participate! 💛

Today, we kicked off Wellbeing Week 2026 with Silly Sock Day!
Year 8 and 9 students participated in the Elephant Ed consent workshop, while the SWAT team spread kindness by handing out Random Acts of Kindness and hosting fun recess activities in the Quad.
Year 9 spent Periods 3 and 4 being inspired by the Talk your Walk team, who spoke about determination, resilience, and being the best version of themselves.
At lunch, we held our annual Fitness Challenge. Lucas was crowned champion, with special mentions to Drew, Zaina and Mr Archer for being super competitive!
What a fantastic way to start Wellbeing Week! 💛
