Hi to all our NR followers, as many of you know the Neighbourhood Renewal project ended in September last year, with the work continuing to be driven through the Maryborough Community Action Group. As such it is time for us to wrap up this page and we will be moving the content over to the MCAG page where we will continue to post any news relating to our work.

The team at NR would sincerely like to thank everyone for the support over the years, it has been an interesting journey that is far from over so please head over to the Maryborough Community Action Group page and give it a like so you can keep up to date and more importantly have your say!

Hi everyone, going forward this is where you will find all of the information about what the MCAG is up to and updates on the progress about the community action plan. As the Neighbourhood Renewal project has now wound up we will be no longer posting new information here so please follow the new page for all your community information and to keep in contact with us.

This page is to promote the work of the Maryborough Community Action Group and help us be a voice for the Maryborough Community and surrounding area

A great opportunity for anyone in the community wanting to try their hand at art, whether of the first time or as a skilled artist/crafter and everyone in between… and the best part, we'll be making whatever the community wants, whatever their collective imaginations come up with (guided by Kerry Punton and Naomi Crew as facilitators who will try to make anything possible!!).

We are saddened to hear the news about the death of Joan Kirner, Victoria’s first female premier. Joan was the Victorian Communities Ambassador when Maryborough Nieghbourhood Renewal first commenced in 2010. Joan loved NR and took particular interest in our site. Her contribution changed residents lives and government responses to issues in the community.

For those who haven't seen it yet, here is the final copy of the Community Survey conducted last year. Results are already being used to inform community planning across Maryborough.

Neighbourhood Renewal is an approach that brings together the resources and ideas of residents, governments, businesses and community groups to tackle disadvantage in areas with concentrations of public housing.
