About the Role
As a Diploma-trained educator, you will:
• Design, implement, and evaluate educational programs that reflect the interests, abilities, and cultural backgrounds of the children in your care.
• Create a warm, secure, and stimulating environment that supports children’s learning and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with fellow educators to plan and deliver activities that foster exploration, curiosity, and creativity.
• Build respectful, responsive relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our centre through reflective practice, team meetings, and staff development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of children’s learning, progress, and achievements, using both digital and traditional tools as appropriate.
• Uphold the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and wellbeing for all children at all times.
About You
We are searching for an educator who is:
• Diploma-qualified in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent recognised qualification).
• Passionate about fostering play-based learning and meaningful relationships.
• Creative, energetic, and committed to supporting every child to reach their full potential.
• Knowledgeable about the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, and sector requirements.
• Confident in communicating with children, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• Organised, reliable, and proactive in all aspects of your work.
• Committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
• Hold a valid Working With Children Check (NSW) and current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or be willing to obtain these).
