🔦 Did you know that Lake Cave is located in an area made of limestone that's about 90 kilometres long and 3 kilometres wide? It's called the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge, and it was created over a million years ago when strong westerly winds blew beach sand, shells, and corals into huge dunes.
⌛ Over time, rainwater cemented the sand together to form limestone, and the water passing through the porous stone formed these beautiful caverns and crystals over thousands of years.
