Another exciting trade pathway has begun for Harlem.

🎉Congratulations to Harlem for signing on as a School-Based Apprentice with Daniel Schincariol Building, where he will commence a Certificate III in Carpentry.

🔨Carpentry is a trade that offers a diverse range of opportunities, and this apprenticeship will allow Harlem to gain valuable hands-on experience, develop practical skills and learn directly from experienced industry professionals while continuing his schooling.

🫶A big thank you to Daniel Schincariol Building for investing in local young people and helping create meaningful pathways from school into employment.

We wish Harlem all the best as he begins this exciting new chapter and look forward to following his progress over the coming years.

✨ Creative minds at work! ✨

🪡Our Year 11/12 Fashion students recently took part in an exciting upcycling workshop at Sonlia Fashion's School of Fashion. Liana from the studio kicked things off with a visit to the school, introducing the concept and sharing inspiring examples.

🧵The week after, students and Miss Rollbusch headed to Sonlia's studio, where they each created their own unique upcycled piece. Students chose a pre-loved garment and altered and decorated it to suit their personal style, getting creative with trims, lace, beads, and even combining multiple garments to bring their designs to life.

This hands-on experience helped students build skills and gain inspiration as they move into their current project—designing and producing an upcycled bag. We can’t wait to see their final creations! 👜

💤A number of dedicated Year 12 students recently participated in the Vinnies School Sleepout run by the Student Council. The aim of this event was to raise awareness and funds to support homelessness in our local community.
