🎨 The Opening Night of Painting My Country was fantastic! 🖼️

Holly Booth’s 𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 opened on Friday evening to a wonderful response.

It was a beautiful celebration of culture, family and connection, with guests captivated by Holly’s incredible talent and the family stories woven throughout her work.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the opening such a special occasion. ✨

Gina and Faith joined in the dressing-up fun at last week’s Rhyme and Storytime! Gina jumped in as a frog from 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 🐸, while Faith followed in the footsteps of 𝐁𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬 and collected some brilliant, vibrant blue! 💙

📚🎶 It's Children's Book Week! 🎶📚

What better place to find a 𝑺𝒚𝒎𝒑𝒉𝒐𝒏𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 than your local library? We can't wait to see all the Book Week parades and fantastic costumes this year!

✨ A New Exhibition is Coming to Manjimup Art Gallery ✨

The 𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 exhibition will be on display from 5 September – 16 October 2026, featuring stunning works by emerging artist Holly Booth, a proud Pibulmun/Wadandi artist whose paintings reflect her deep connection to Country and culture.

Inspired by stories, knowledge and traditions shared through her family, Holly’s contemporary artworks weave together Indigenous heritage and personal narrative in a style uniquely her own.

Her works celebrate the beauty and significance of Country while honouring cultural knowledge passed down through generations.

📚🎶 Our Children's Book Week workshops with Steve Heron are off to a fantastic start! 🎶📚

With plenty of laughter, creativity and storytelling in our first workshop, we're looking forward to a wonderful week that truly celebrates this year's theme: 𝑺𝒚𝒎𝒑𝒉𝒐𝒏𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔.
