A strong sense of community leadership and local pride was on display at the Peel Community Foundation's Together for Tomorrow – Pinjarra Giving event yesterday, with Natalie Lees, Principal Regional Development Officer, and Board member Natasha Upcott in attendance.

It was inspiring to see community members, businesses, donors and supporters come together through the program to support youth wellbeing, capability and connection in Pinjarra. There was a strong focus on listening to local voices, investing in belonging, and empowering young people to help shape the future of their community. The event also highlighted the support and impact PCF is making in the wider Peel region.

The Commission is proud to show our support for initiatives like this that strengthen our community and foster a lasting culture of giving across Peel.

A valuable day at Parliament House today, with the PDC Board coming together for a special meeting and luncheon hosted by Rhys Williams MLA - State Member for Mandurah.

Our thanks to the Minister for Regional Development, Hon Stephen Dawson MLC, for taking the time to meet with the Board to discuss priorities for the Peel region, and for his ongoing support of the Commission in our journey.

Our appreciation also for the work all local members do in the Peel community.
