Well, here is some interesting news for those of us who were never impressed with the idea of a high school squeezed onto Bungendore Park and surrounds. Save Bungendore Park- bless you!

Majors Creek local historian Brian McDonald unveiling the plaque and plinth for the local community at the newly named Ludwig Baumgardner Bridge at Back Creek, Long Flat on Wallaces Gap road. A small group of local identities gather for the modest little ceremony where we heard about Ludy from Brian. Big thanks to Matt and Steve from the Progress association and for the support of QPRC councillors and staff. Hopefully more names and plaques for the village in the near future.

Hi followers, I will be going on the radio this arvo about 3.15 pm on Bunkum, Faves and Raves with Rod and Bill to chat about council stuff. Topics include what's on "your voice" at the moment hoping for community engagement as well as topics of tomorrow evening's council meeting being held at the National Theatre. The Zomi mural, the men's shed and the heavy horse show are just three of the subjects up for discussion. Members of the public can make 3 minute presentations about any topic on the agenda. Yes, you can have your say. Starts promptly at 5.30 pm for the public forum. The papers are available at qprc.nsw.gov.au
