Have you registered for / activated your QParents account yet? Reminding our families, we are utilising QParents for ALL our activity/event consent & payment management. If you haven't got yourself registered, go to https://qparents.qld.edu.au/landing

Could we please remind all families to ensure that consent & payment for activities and events are received by the due date (included in all notes). Unfortunately, students will be unable to participate in school events or activities if consent / payment has not been received.

If you are experiencing financial difficulties, would like to arrange a payment plan or need assistance with your QParents, please call us (07 4951 5111) or pop in to either of our Administration Offices.

🎻🏆 Platinum Success at Creative Generations Fanfare! 🏆🎻

A huge congratulations to our Senior String Ensemble, who represented Mackay West State School with pride and excellence at the Central Queensland Region Creative Generations Instrumental Music Fanfare.

The ensemble delivered a wonderful performance and were awarded the highest possible rating — Platinum! This outstanding achievement reflects the students' dedication, commitment to rehearsals, teamwork, and musical growth throughout the year.

We are incredibly proud of every performer for their professionalism, focus, and enthusiasm both on and off the stage. Thank you to our families for their ongoing support and to Miss Pengelly for her dedication, expertise, and leadership in developing such a successful ensemble program.

Congratulations to all involved on this fantastic result. We look forward to many more musical successes throughout the year!
