Queensland’s new smoke alarm laws require all homes to have interconnected, photoelectric smoke alarms by 1 January 2027.
New builds and homes being sold must already meet the rules, and rentals must comply when a new lease is signed.

Just a quick update on a recent project with one of our mine sites where we removed a FM-200 gaseous system from a substation (2 rooms) and replaced it with a newer Kidde IG-541 inert gaseous system, just awaiting some signage along with finalised block plan and it will be good to go!
