Another great meeting tonight at Pioneer Toastmasters. Tonight we held the Evaluation Competition, with our competitors Steven, Stephen and Scott all doing a great job evaluating our Guest Speaker Gary Minter 👏

We also had a fantastic speech from Suzanne with her speech entitled ‘Hang On’, she had some great Vocal Variety and Gestures/Body Language to suit the speech purpose.

It was another great evening tonight at Pioneer Toast Masters. We had some great humorous speeches from Kerry and Scott in preparation for competition late October. We also welcomed Tahnee tonight as a guest and hoping she enjoyed the evening and will join our team in the near future. The team had an animated meeting last night, with lots of ideas and unique stories, reflections and memories with our theme grandparents.

The word of the day was “animated” and most people tonight used the word. Great job Steven W as our toast master this evening and Paul our President for organizing an impromptu Contest preparing speakers for competition in late October. Great speech by Robyn and our impromptu table topic speeches were very entertaining too.

Last nights meeting Steven Williams received his badge and gave a great speech showing he has gained so much more confidence on joining only a few short weeks ago. These badges are a symbol of recognition, identity and role clarity. Also they help new members easily identify eachother.
