It might only be September, but Lumey is already starting to glow… 💫

Plans are well underway for Loxton Light Up Day 2026, which means there’s one very important date we need you to save:

We’re getting ready for another huge day of family fun, entertainment, Christmas festivities and, of course, the Fireworks Spectacular lighting up Loxton's sky. 🎆

There’s lots to share over the coming months, with site applications opening soon and an exciting new way to discover Loxton's Christmas light displays this year! 👀

It’s been so cold lately, it might just snow for our event on Friday 31st July! ❄️⛄️

We are looking forward to welcoming you to our inaugural Christmas in July event at the Loxton Historical Village. Please feel free to share this with your friends and family.

Normal entry prices apply.
There is no need to purchase tickets, simply come along and enjoy the evening.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase, including:

Donuts
Coffee from the coffee cart
Sausages with onions and bread
Marshmallows, you are welcome to bring your own, but some will also be available from the shop

Please remember to BYO drinks, chairs, rugs and, of course, your smiles!

Don’t forget to wear your best, or worst Christmas jumper or outfit. We can’t wait to see you there!

A friendly reminder to all community members who borrowed paintings for the Loxton Lights Festival. It’s time to return them to Santa’s Workshop.

Tonight is the final night to experience the magic of the Loxton Lights Festival and Christmas Wonderland. 🎄✨
A huge thank you to our incredible community for banding together and making this festival one of the best we’ve ever seen. Your creativity, time, and Christmas spirit have truly shone bright.

🎨 Painting Return Reminder
Community members can return paintings to Santa’s Workshop, located behind the CWA Hall on Kokoda Terrace, this Saturday, 3rd January, between 9:00am and 12:00 noon.

As we step into the New Year, we wish our wonderful community a safe, happy, and prosperous year ahead. Thank you for your continued support, generosity, and community spirit - we can’t wait to see what we create together in the year to come. ✨🎉

To the residents who lit up their homes, the volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, the artists who created the beautiful hand-painted scenes, and everyone who wandered the streets soaking up the magic, this season truly belongs to you ❤️

For over 30 years, Loxton Lights has been about bringing people together, sharing joy, and celebrating the spirit of Christmas as a community. Seeing families, friends, and visitors come together each night has been incredibly special.
