Liverpool Regional Museum is featuring us in its latest exhibition: 'Handle with Care: Looking After Liverpool'!

The exhibition presents historical concepts of care developed within the Liverpool region, focused on the people and organisations dedicated to delivering care to the community.

As part of the exhibition, the Museum is hosting a series of FREE public programs. On Saturday 6, June, 11am-12.30pm, Professional Storyteller Jo Henwood will present ""The Ten Plagues Of Sydney"".

For years the settlement of Sydney was protected from epidemics by the buffer of distance. As sea journeys shortened and ships increased they introduced fatal diseases.

Storyteller Jo Henwood unlocks the past to understand how we dealt with disease and how epidemics transformed Sydney and Sydneysiders.

We are partnering with researchers at the University of Wollongong to conduct a study into young children’s screen use. This research will help develop a future health promotion campaign on healthy screen use for children aged 3-5 years.

If you live in south west Sydney and are a parent or caregiver of a child aged 3-5 years, we’d love to hear from you! We are asking parents or caregivers to complete a survey about their child’s screen use. The survey is available in English, Arabic and Vietnamese.
