August 1st marks the universal birthday of horses in the Southern Hemisphere.
Coinciding with this celebration Mark McAulay was given the privilege of becoming the Amaroo Equine Ambassador for a period of three months in 2023.
Amaroo Equine draws on evidence-based research to create authentic connections with horses and nature to heal, support and empower individuals of all ages, abilities and walks of life.
Promoting healing and transformation through psychotherapy and education.
Mark, himself participated in numerous activities where he gained practical skills with unfamiliar power tools, farm machinery maintenance, and fencing.
In addition to learning about the grooming, water and feed management for the horses.
Mark proved that his ability is that he will never be limited or pigeonholed.
Marks can-do attitude to life previously secured him a world ranking in Table Tennis in 2007, placing Mark in the running for the Olympics.
No one understands better than Mark about the needs required on a daily basis for people living with special needs or disability.
Mark's perspective, where he sees and experiences the world from a different angle, makes Mark an absolute valued member of the Cass Coleman Community Group team, making sure that the most vulnerable in our society are not forgotten or forsaken.
