HOME OF
Gardens of Stone Visitor Centre + Secret Creek Sanctuary + AEFI + One Mob + Secret Creek Cafe + Wollemi Wildlife Hospital. Here at Secret Creek we believe that conservation only begins with protecting native endangered species and their habitats. Preserving our natural environment and saving ecosystems requires a holistic approach. The sustainability of our restaurant is an important part

of this. This is why we choose to serve an entirely plant-based, or vegan, menu. We also minimise waste by feeding vegetable scraps to the sanctuary animals. Our menu includes familiar plant-based versions of comfort food that you know and love. We cater for everyone, with a truly inclusive menu that everyone can enjoy. We cater for gluten free guests and people with other allergies or intolerances.

Pink-tongued skinks are built for climbing, but today was the first time we caught them in the act — and they did it together.

Seeing them explore the tree trunk was a lovely reminder of how comfortable and confident they’re becoming.

If you’re planning a visit, might be too late for today but we'll be open again tomorrow 10am to 4pm, then every Wednesday to Sunday same times.

You never know what new behaviour you’ll catch!

And if this is the first you're hearing of Secret Creek, go here to find out more... https://www.secretcreek.au/secret-creek-sanctuary.

A sunny Winter morning at Secret Creek.
This Brush‑tailed Rock‑wallaby was out early, catching the first warm patch of sun — a lovely reminder that the cooler months are some of the best times to see our animals active.

If you’re looking for something peaceful to do today or later this week, we’re open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am–4pm. Wander the paths, meet our wallabies, and enjoy the sunshine while it lasts.

The cooler weather has a few animals out and about — you may even catch a glimpse of a joey peeking out for a look around, like this gorgeous Brush‑tailed Rock‑wallaby.

We’re open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am–4pm if you’re looking for something to do over the next few days. We’d love to welcome you in.

If you think you will arrive after 3pm it's worth giving us a call on 63521133 as we sometimes close at that time if all our visitors have left.
