Could you be my furever home?

Meet Taco, a black domestic short hair cat currently available for adoption at Lithgow Animal Shelter. Taco can be a little shy and reserved when meeting new people, but once he gets to know you, he turns into an absolute smooch. He’s already shown off his affectionate side by enthusiastically doubling as a boot polisher, and he’s sure to bring plenty of love and laughter to a patient home willing to let him come out of his shell at his own pace.

Our girls Ardie & Pringle head off to their new homes tomorrow!

Can you help us find our way home?

These young mixed-breed dogs were found in the Lithgow area on 12 May alongside two other similar-looking dogs and are currently being cared for at Lithgow Animal Shelter.

The dogs appear to be familiar with one another and are shy and reserved, but friendly in nature.

If you believe any of these dogs may be your pets, please contact the shelter directly.

Proof of ownership (e.g. registration, veterinary records, or photographs) will be required prior to release.

This week has been one for the books - 5 adoptions in just 3 days! 🐾❤️

Five beautiful dogs have stolen some hearts, packed their bags and are heading off to start their happily-ever-afters with their new families.

We like to think these were their dating profile pictures… and honestly, who could resist?

Every adoption means one more life changed, one more kennel opened, and one more reminder of why we do what we do. Thank you to everyone who supports rescue, adoption, fostering, volunteering, and sharing our posts - you help make moments like this possible.
