Our iconic little South Lismore LPO is hunting for a rare, mythical creature: someone who possesses both a flawless corporate skill set and the foolhardy, resilient spirit required to survive and love our eclectic community. If you are easily startled, scared of birds or unimpressed with stamp licking prowess, this is not the gig for you. But if you have local grit and a thick skin, keep reading.
The Absolute Mandatories (No Exceptions, We've Tried):
Fully Post-Trained & Experienced: You must have recent, hands-on experience handling Australia Post systems. If you don't know your EPOS from your elbow, we can't save you.
Impeccable References: We need to know that your previous bosses didn't just let you go with a sigh of relief.
Eclectic Community Knowledge: South Lismore isn’t just a location; it’s a lifestyle. You need to know our locals, understand their quirks, and appreciate the unique energy of our iconic little shop.
Display & Campaign Harmony: You must be eager to jump headfirst into our local community campaigns. Crucially, you must have zero conflicts with, and total enthusiasm for, our legendary ANZAC and Christmas displays. We take our tinsel and our poppies very seriously here.
The "Plan B" Candidate (We'll also consider you if you have):
Recent Banking Experience: If you can handle Bank@Post transactions without breaking a sweat, you’re halfway there.
Exceptional Social & Retail Skills: You need the diplomacy of a UN ambassador, the speed of a barista on Monday morning, and a sense of humour that can diffuse a package dispute in seconds.
