💙 Thank a First Responder Day - Richmond Police District 💙

Today we celebrate Thank a First Responder Day, and we’re inviting our Richmond PD community to help make it a great one for the people who show up for you every single day.

Our officers, ambos, firies, VRA, Marine Rescue and SES crews are out across the district keeping our community safe, supported, and moving forward. A simple hello, a wave, or a quick “thanks for what you do” can genuinely brighten their day.

If you see our teams out and about - whether they’re on patrol, attending a job, or grabbing a much needed coffee - take a moment to say hi. Those small gestures mean more than you might think.

To all first responders: thank you for your dedication, your resilience, and your service to the Richmond PD community.
