Huge congratulations to all our 3-6 competitors! We are so incredibly proud of every student who confidently shared their prepared and impromptu speeches, showcasing amazing public speaking skills.

BEHIND THE SCENES WITH KINDY 🖼

Our whole school collaborative mural is taking shape! A huge thank you to P&C’s Ella Condon, who is coming in each afternoon to help our Kindergarten students create the colourful background. Every student and family will have the chance to add their own special touch on the night of our biennial Art Show. We can’t wait to see it come together! ✨

BRONZE FOR KINGSTON & SYDNEY EAST!🥉⚽️🔥👏🏻

What a week in Nelson Bay for our very own Kingston in Yr 5 and the Sydney East Boys Football Team! The boys had an incredible run at the NSWPSSA Championships — battling hard and narrowly going down 2-1 to CIS in a tough semi-final. Kingston finished the tournament with 9 IMPRESSIVE GOALS while playing up with some of the best Under 12 players in the state. What a legend... we are SO PROUD of you Kingston!

PRIMARILY FUN WORKSHOPS & PERFORMANCE 🎼🎶

These Stage 3 students had an absolute blast participating in the Primarily Fun Music Program with Sydney Secondary College Leichhardt and Balmain campuses last week! This transition program offers young musicians the unique opportunity to be mentored by talented secondary students from the Instrumental Music Program (IMP). From workshops to a show-stopping performance at the iconic Verbrugghen Hall, Sydney Conservatorium of Music, our students rocked the stage alongside their high school mentors!

PREMIER'S DEBATING CHALLENGE 🐯💛🏅

Huge congratulations to the OGPS Tigers: ZONE CHAMPIONS! This team argued their way through to the Regional Finals and put up an incredible fight against Russell Lea Public School last week! While they were narrowly defeated, the passion, teamwork, and quick thinking on display was phenomenal. A massive thank you to coach Miss Jovevski for another outstanding debating season! We’re so proud of you, Tigers!
