The Souvenir and Tourist information carriage is now closed until September. This gives our Volunteers a well earned break. The donation box down at the trees is always open and hungry. So,if you come to visit those magnificently carved WW1 Memorial Trees you can always leave a donation if you wish.
See you all again in September.

An aerial photographer, Col Douch, recently visited the Legerwood Memorial trees and gave us this lovely aerial shot of the trees. Thank you, Col. We just love it.

We received a lovely surprise in the mail from Shirley Baldwin. Shirley and her husband had visited the Memorial trees during their recent 6 week tour of Tassie. Shirley was so touched by the memorial that she crocheted some beautiful poppies for each plaque for Anzac Day. Thank you, Shirley. The committee appreciated your beautiful gift.

Jason Chard from Scottsdale was assigned the task of replacing the 3 chainsaw carvings done be Eddie Freeman 13 years ago. Unfortunately the original carvings deteriorated to such an extent that they had to be replaced. Jason has his own business, "Tasmanian Burl."
