🏊‍♀️ RACE DAY IS BACK! 🏊‍♂️

Join us on Saturday 20 June from 12:30pm–2:00pm for an afternoon of fun racing in the pool!

All GOswim students from Seahorse level and above are eligible to compete. Best of all, it's completely FREE!

There'll also be a BBQ on the day, brought to you by the Lawnton Swim Club! So come along, cheer on our swimmers, and enjoy a great afternoon at the pool. 🌭🏅

We can't wait to see our swimmers dive in and give it their best shot!

🌟 Feel Good Friday 🌟

A huge congratulations to all of our swimmers who achieved a level-up during our assessment week last week and earned their next medal. Your hard work, determination, and commitment in the pool are paying off, and we couldn't be prouder! 🏅👏

To those who didn't move up this time, keep at it! Every great swimmer progresses at their own pace, and every lesson is a step closer to your goal.

💙 MEET THE TEAM 💙

Meet Bella, our wonderful Bookings Coordinator here at Lawnton Aquatic Centre! 👋🏼 🏊

Bella has been part of the Lawnton team for the past five years, beginning her journey as a Lifeguard before stepping into her current role as Bookings Coordinator, while also working as one of our Swim Teachers.

What Bella loves most about working at the centre is the amazing people she gets to work with and meet each day. She also enjoys seeing her students improve their swimming skills and grow in confidence in the water — one of the most rewarding parts of teaching! 🌊

Outside of work, Bella enjoys playing footy and heading to live music events.
🎶 Her favourite music is anything by Spacey Jane, her favourite TV show is The Pitt, and her favourite movie is Shrek 2.

Be sure to say hi to Bella next time you’re at the centre! 💙

🌟 Feel Good Friday 🌟

This week, we're shining a spotlight on two of our amazing team members who are achieving incredible things outside of the pool!

💪🏼 Congratulations to Liz, who competed at the CrossFit Oceania Championships on the Gold Coast last weekend. Taking on five challenging events, it was her first major competition in years — an outstanding achievement and a testament to her dedication and hard work. Well done, Liz!

🏊🚴🏃 Meanwhile, Cooper is currently representing Australia in France, competing in a series of triathlon events. After racing at Metz Moselle on 30 May, he'll also compete at d’Albi on 14 June, de Vichy-Bellerive on 4 July, and the World University Championships from 7–9 August.

We're incredibly proud to have such talented and committed people on our team.

Join us in congratulating Liz and wishing Cooper the very best for the rest of his European campaign! 👏🏼 🎉
