Farewell CAPT(AAC) Nicole Hansen 👏

After nearly 15 years of service, we had the privilege of farewelling CAPT(AAC) Nicole Hansen this evening.

Starting as the Administration Officer at 67 ACU, CAPT(AAC) Hansen went on to serve in a range of roles, including Officer Commanding of both 62 and 67 ACU. She has made a significant and lasting contribution, leaving a positive impact on staff and cadets alike.

Thank you for your service, Nicole. We wish you every success and happiness in your next chapter.

On Wednesday night, the Alpha Company Leadership Team visited 62 Army Cadet Unit - Launceston and 67 Army Cadet Unit - Youngtown .

The visit provided a great opportunity to connect with both units, recognise the strong work being done by cadets and staff, and look at ways to support continued improvement

Cadets also took part in the WTTS virtual range, where they developed and tested their marksmanship skills in a safe and engaging environment.

It was a positive night, highlighting teamwork, growth, and the opportunities available through Army Cadets.

Cadets seen in this post are using a WTTS, which is an training weapon and is incapable of firing.

ANZAC Day 2026

This ANZAC Day, Alpha Company pauses to remember and honour the courage, sacrifice, and service of all Australians and New Zealanders who have served, and continue to serve, our nation.

We supported 12 services across the northern half of Tasmania.

We remember those who gave their lives, those who returned changed, and those who continue to serve today.

Lest We Forget. 🌺
