📣We're looking for colour run sponsors! 🌈

Landsborough State School P&C are holding a colour run event for our students on Friday 18 September. This is to raise funds for new marquees/shade shelters for the school.

We're adding some sweeteners for businesses when they sponsor our 2026 Colour Fun Run, to be held on 18 September! This year, we’re raising funds for new sports house marquees/shade shelters and are inviting local businesses to partner with us and help bring this vision to life.

Donations over $500 - As above (but until Sept 2027) + Fence sign (12 months fees includ.)

🌈 COLOUR RUN UPDATE🌈
Our Colour Fun Run will be held on Friday 18 September. It's our major school fundraiser for 2026 and a wonderful way to end the term. Each week we will be announcing a new weekly colour run challenge. 💪

These students will receive VIP seating at parade this afternoon. ⭐

CHALLENGE 4 – Every student who raises $100 or more by 3pm Friday 11 September will go into the draw to be slimed at the colour run! We will randomly draw 4 winners. Winners announced at morning messages on Monday 14 September. (NOTE: If you don't wish to be slimed, we will have a few staff members who are willing. You can choose one to fill your spot). 💦

⭐️ PBL UPDATE ⭐️
Positive Change Highway – Recognising When We Feel Stuck.
At Landsborough State School, we use the Positive Change Highway to help students recognise challenges, identify obstacles and choose strategies to move towards their goals.

This includes understanding the Cycle of Despair — those moments when we start thinking “I can’t do this” or feel stuck. By recognising these feelings early, students can use strategies, ask for help and return to a calm, focused state ready to learn and problem-solve.
