📹 SECURITY UPGRADES AT LANCEFIELD PARK 📹

The Lancefield Park Committee of Management is pleased to advise the community that the reserve security camera system has recently undergone a significant upgrade.

Additional cameras have now been installed across key areas of the reserve, greatly improving security coverage and monitoring capabilities for our community facilities and user groups.

These upgrades have been completed following the recent copper theft incident at the reserve, which caused major damage and disruption to park infrastructure and power services.

As part of the restoration works, damaged copper wiring has now been replaced with aluminium cabling to help reduce the risk of future copper theft targeting the reserve.

Our volunteer committee continues to work hard behind the scenes to improve the safety, protection and long-term sustainability of Lancefield Park for all user groups and visitors.

Thank you to everyone for your ongoing support of our community-run reserve.

In celebration of their 25th Birthday, Community Bank Lancefield and Romsey are donating $2,500 to a local group on Saturday 23 May - and we're going for it.

How you can help us win:
1. Come to the Lancefield Farmers Market on Sat 23 May before 12pm

Power has been restored to Lancefield Park. A big thank you to Ross from Electrix and to Mary Anne Thomas who was able to make this happen so quickly. We still need any information the community might have on those who were involved in the theft. Monday May 4th between 3.30am and 6.00am.

A big weekend coming up at the Park with both Junior and Senior Football Netball Clubs having their first home games of the season. Seniors on Saturday and Juniors on Sunday, come on down and support your community club in both netball and football.
