So very greatful of the on going support from community groups, without the generous donations we wouldn’t be able to offer such a wide variety of items .
This includes the ability to support our local pre-school, playgroup , senior citizens group and men’s shed

Stay tuned we are trying to work out how we can assist our community with this … you all deserve better than to miss out 😊

Neighbourhood Houses Victoria proposed a partnership for the Registration Rebate, which would have funded our work in helping community access the rebate.

They rejected the proposal, and told us there was no funding available to assist community members who face challenges with digital literacy, digital access, language barriers and more. They are expected to apply via the website or app, or miss out on the rebate.

We think that is incredibly unfair and a poor effort from the State Government, with horrible outcomes for both our most vulnerable community members and our already underfunded Neighbourhood Houses.

Please let your local MP, Ingrid Stitt MP and Luba Grigorovitch MP know that our community deserves better!

When we shared the news about our new Drop In Centre in Lakes Entrance, our community responded with incredible generosity. Offers of support rolled in, donations arrived, and our hearts (and every available cupboard, corner and storage space) filled up very quickly.

Seriously… you’ve been amazing 🫶

Because of your kindness, we’re now at the point where we can’t accept any more donations of goods for the Drop In Centre. Not because they aren’t appreciated, but because we’ve officially reached the “where on earth do we put this?” stage.

If you’d still like to support the Centre, cash donations make the biggest difference, helping us respond flexibly to changing needs and provide support where it’s needed most.
