πŸš’ Exciting News for Our Community! πŸš’

Today, Lake Innes Brigade proudly welcomed a brand new Category 1 fire fighting appliance into our fleet. This replaces our well-worn 26-year-old truck that has served us faithfully over the years.

Our new appliance is more reliable, safer, and better equipped to respond to emergenciesβ€”helping us continue to protect and serve our community more effectively.

🚨πŸ”₯ Fire Permits Required from 1 October 2025 πŸ”₯🚨

A reminder to all residents that from 1 October 2025, a fire permit is required before you light a fire.

Fire permits help us ensure burning is conducted safely and reduce the risk of bushfires in our community.

πŸ‘‰ You can apply for a permit quickly and easily online via the NSW RFS website:

https://www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/plan-and-prepare/know-your-risk/Bush-fire-hazards-and-your-property/fire-permits

We thank everyone for working with us to keep our community safe.

Fire permits are important to make sure that fire is used safely. When you have a permit, it tells you the rules for starting and keeping a fire, and it also informs firefighters when you are burning things on your property.
