Just to let you know…

I got a call tonight from one of our Berrebangalo Road neighbours who got an unannounced visit from a dubious character this afternoon. This fellow was driving a rental ute (I think that Kennards was mentioned), had a long “Ned Kelly” beard, rolls his own ci******es and is aged in his late 60s. He asked to use the neighbour’s phone and when the neighbour wasn’t looking, the fellow stole our neighbour’s wallet and then left in a bit of a hurry. Unfortunately, the licence plate number of the ute was not taken down.

So if you see a hire ute in the area with a driver who has a long beard, please record the licence plate number and send it through to me so that the police can check it all out.

It might also be a good idea to make sure that you have your valuables locked up.

Yass Valley Council has announced that road repairs to Berrebangalo Rd (neal Lynvale) will commence this week (see http://www.yassvalley.nsw.gov.au/news/scheduled-works-week-commencing-17th-october)..

Some of Suphy's cows have been out on Berrebangalo Lane for over a week now. This morning, they appeared to be in one of Kerry and Ruth's paddocks (Lonsdale Park) - I don't know if they were let in to get them off the road or perhaps they just wandered in looking for food.
