Orelia's Wildflower Walk is one of the most underrated hikes South of the River

Join us for a free guided walk following a 2.2km loop. Discover the many reasons why wildflowers are more than a splash of colour and how they are critical to the ecosystem.

Kids activities kick off at 9.30am on Sunday, 20 September at Sandringham Park. Guided walks for the big kids (aka adults) start shortly afterwards from 10am.

What matters most to you when it comes to our local parks?

Weโ€™re developing a new Park Upgrade Strategy to help guide how we plan and prioritise improvements to parks across Kwinana and we want our community to be part of the conversation.

Over the coming weeks, you can get involved in two ways:
๐ŸŒฟ Look out for a Park Pop-Up near you where you discuss with the team about how parks are planned.

๐Ÿ’ป By having your say online on Love My Kwinana: https://lovemykwinana.com/projects/park-upgrade-strategy

๐Ÿ“… Feedback closes 11 October 2026. Keep an eye on our page for Park Pop-Up locations and dates coming soon! ๐ŸŒณ
