🌟 Netball Gala Day!🌟
What a fantastic day we had at the Hawkesbury PSSA Netball Gala Day last Thursday! It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to try a new sport, with everyone showing great enthusiasm and giving their best on the court. The atmosphere was fantastic as students learnt new skills and enjoyed the friendly competition.
A huge thank you to our amazing parent volunteers Dale Paton, Hailey Chant and Bonnie De Chellis who managed teams on the day. Your support was invaluable and truly appreciated. We also want to extend our gratitude to the staff who attended on the day and those who worked hard in the lead-up to make this event possible.

📚✨ Today we welcomed Mel, literacy consultant from Training 24/7, to Comleroy Road Public School!

Mel spent the day observing our K-2 staff in action, providing valuable feedback to help enhance guided reading practice. She also led a professional learning session for our Years 3-6 teachers, focusing on planning effective close reading lessons using non-fiction texts.

A huge thank you to Mel for her ongoing support and for building the capacity of our staff to strengthen reading instruction across our school. Together, we’re empowering our students to become confident, skilled readers!

🎉✨ Congratulations to our wonderful dance students on their fantastic performances today at the Blue Mountains Nepean Dance Festival! Your dedication, passion, and effort truly shone on stage and made us so proud.

A huge thank you to our incredible staff team and Mrs George for supporting our students and accompanying them throughout rehearsals and performances. We are also very grateful to the many families for their ongoing support and assistance in preparing our students for today. It makes all the difference!
