The team asked for two versions…One got a tourism degree, the other got TikTok 🤣

Just joking, but how cute is our little Jimmy 🦘

Whether it’s an expertly executed paragraph or “bro said 🌳🦘”, you’re guaranteed a fun-filled day here at Rainforestation.

One minute you’re peacefully taking in the beauty of the rainforest… the next you’re emotionally attached to a tree kangaroo named Jimmy and considering cancelling your flight home.

Nature heals, Jimmy steals hearts. That’s the experience 🤝

Meet Jimmy, our Lumholtz’s Tree Kangaroo!

May 21st is World Tree Kangaroo Day. This day is an important opportunity to raise awareness for these arboreal marsupials and helps us understand how we can help them.

Jimmys journey to Rainforestation provides awareness and insight into why conservation efforts are so important.

Jimmy was rescued by the amazing team at the Tree Roo Rescue and Conservation Centre, after he was found displaced in a backyard, far away from his usual habitat. He was discovered to have a vision impairment and therefore was unfortunately unable to be released back into the wild. Along with educating the public about tree kangaroos, TRRCC does an incredible job rescuing, rehabilitating and protecting them.

Come and meet Jimmy at Rainforestation where he can be seen every day either munching on his browse or participating in target training with his keepers!
