Big congratulations to Angelina Brim. She's not just a Djabugay Ranger from Kuranda, she's also a rugby league footy star that became the female gold medalist of the year for the FNQRL in Cairns. We wish her all the best in her career for many years to come. Go Team Culture & Ranger Crew.

We just wanted to take a moment to say a big thank you to the Mareeba Shire Council Disaster and resilience team for their hard work ensuring our community receive fantastic free training. Our rangers have engaged in chainsaw, first aid and the landholder fire workshop, and always come back to the office sharing how much they enjoyed the workshops and ready to use the knowledge gained. Thank you!!!

Big thank you to the legend Murphy from Fireground for coming up and training us up on recovery - operating different power tools, using comms, 4wd training, navigation, working together. Hope to see you (and other deadly Fireground crew) next year. Cheawwwww!

50 years of Deadly done Deadly, the future generations of Djabugay paid respects to those that came before yesterday and we'd like to thank our friends at QRail for making all this possible, along with our great mob who keep our culture alive, healthy and wonderful, all due to those that came before! Well done everyone!

Hi everyone, a quick reminder for tomorrow mornings NAIDOC. For the ones that has already pre-booked there seats for the train will have to be at Kuranda Centenary Park to board the coaches @ 7:45am to leave for Cairns Centrals train station. If not you can also meet us in the Kuranda park @ 12pm. Sorry for the ones that couldn't join us this year, there will be no more bookings as of this morning.

Be in early for next year's NAIDOC for the ones that's missing out this year.

Hope your all well, Hey just a reminder for the ones that's catching the train next week Wednesday for our NAIDOC please be at the Kuranda Centenary Park 7:45am to board the coaches at 8am, if you miss the bus you can still attend the NIADOC celebration in the park at 12pm for speeches and Performances. Also don't forget the big Saturday night event at the Kuranda Amphitheatre, see you all there.
