📣Calling all Captains!📣

You are invited to the Captain Development Program 2024!

Designed to upskill you as a leader and empower you to lead an effective brigade, this program has been specifically developed with the FES Academy and encompasses key learning areas from the Station Officer Development Program.

Whether you have been a Captain for 2 years or 20 years – this program will provide you with new skills and techniques to support your leadership journey.

This opportunity is extended to 2024/2025 VFRS Brigade Captains only. If you are not returning as the Captain following this year’s election, please forward the invitation to the incoming Captain.

Please confirm your attendance, travel, and dietary requirements by no later than Friday, 12 July 2024 to [email protected] or contact Andrae Moore on 9395 9733 for information.

Celebrate!

Yesterday was International Volunteers Day, which was created to raise awareness of the important role volunteers play in responding to challenges facing the world. It is also a day to celebrate and promote volunteering.

We are so proud, and appreciate our Fire & Rescue Service volunteers more than can be expressed.

"Words aren't enough to show our gratitude to each of you," says Executive Officer Tim Sonsee.
"Thank you for the impact you have in enriching the lives of others."

Thank you to the thousands of people all over Western Australia who work tirelessly to protect and help save others and their communities.
