Ok you asked, so here is the recipe for the deconstructed Fruit Crumble:

Ingredients:
1 cup flour,
1 cup coconut,
1 cup oats,
3/4 brown sugar (or mix of brown and white or what ever you have),
1 tablespoon cinnamon,
2 teaspoons of nutmeg and
a chunk of butter (1/2 - 3/4 cup) melted.

Method:
Mix all together and layout on baking tray and bake in oven 180ç - 20minutes and check, keep checking every 5 minutes until it is to your liking (I like it golden and with a crunch)

Cook your fruit. Pending Fruit you may like to add some sugar.

Then let people construct their own crumble.

Crumble can be kept in airtight container. Can use on on yoghurt, sprinkle on porridge, add to fruit hot or cold. Simple and easy

The 1800MEDICARE app is a secure and convenient way to view key health information that you, your healthcare providers or representatives have uploaded to My Health Record.

It also gives you access to electronic prescriptions and your Active Script List. It also has other great features to:

find and book a health service
search a symptom checker
access information about medical and pharmaceutical services provided by Medicare, as well as links to enrolment and claims.
It’s fast, easy, and secure – and you can access and share it all from the palm of your hand.

We asked Leisa about being a Services Australia Agent staff member and why she loves her role:

"I really enjoy helping people navigate the world of Services Australia. It can be daunting, especially when you have minimal or no on-line experience. Don't be put off by never having used a computer or not having an email address - we can help you with all of this!

Plenty of people have said they could never use a MyGov account yet now arrive with their login details & paperwork and see the benefits of being able to interact with Centrelink in "real-time", if need be.

It's really satisfying when people can leave feeling a weight has lifted from their shoulders and I hear often - "Thank you, I'll be able to sleep tonight"

Happy IDAHO IT day everyone.

Today is IDAHOBIT — the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, discrimination against inters*x people and Transphobia. 🌈

A global moment to stand against discrimination and come together for equality!

Did you know:
• 65 UN member States still criminalise consensual same-s*x s*xual acts
• At least 62 restrict freedom of expression based on s*xual orientation, gender identity and expression, and s*x characteristics
• Legal gender recognition based on self-identification exists in just 18 countries
• Only 9 countries prohibit unnecessary medical interventions on inters*x children
• In Australia, it’s still legal to discriminate against LGBTQ+ people in religious schools and by faith-based service providers

Behind every statistic are people in our communities being denied safety, recognition and equality.

While our experiences may differ across the world, our hope is shared: to live freely, equally and without discrimination - and to be accepted for who we are.

🍽️ Celebrating Community!

What an incredible day! As part of Neighbourhood Centre Week, we hosted our 'Largest Community-Led Lunch Initiative,' and the room was buzzing with connection and great food.

We were thrilled to share a delicious spread with 39 members of our community. The menu was a hit, featuring:

🍗 Roast chicken, quiche, and fresh veggies.

🍰 A dessert feast: Apple and berry compote, ice cream, Milpara-themed mud cake, and cupcakes.

✨ Belinda’s Crumble (Keep your eyes peeled—we’ll be sharing the recipe in our next post!).

Lunch like this doesn't just happen. It’s the result of incredible generosity, both in time and financial support.

A very special thanks to St Vincent de Paul for volunteering their time and providing sponsorship for the lunch. Your contribution made this celebration possible!

To everyone who joined us to help celebrate—thank you. We hope you enjoyed the meal and the company as much as we did.

Bonus: Because of the abundance of food, we were also able to provide additional meals to the Foodbank freezer to support those in need later this week.
