Sourdough lovers – or those keen to finally crack the code – this one’s for you.

Join Mara Ripani, author of The Baker’s Percentage, for an engaging author talk at Koroit Library, where she’ll break down the science (and magic) behind sourdough.

Whether you’re nurturing a starter or just getting started, you’ll pick up practical tips to improve your baking at home.

Bring a jar if you’d like to take home some of Mara’s sourdough starter and keep the inspiration going!

The rainbow chalk artwork outside Camperdown Library is looking fantastic, with the community coming together to create a bright and colourful display.

Our library branches are hosting IDAHOBIT activities today and tomorrow, including chalk art, jewellery making, colouring and access to LGBTQIA+ resources.

IDAHOBIT – the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia – is an opportunity to celebrate diversity and promote inclusion, while recognising the discrimination still experienced by LGBTQIA+ communities.

These activities help create welcoming spaces where everyone can feel seen, safe and supported.
