#❄ Warm Winter Read - Staff recommendation ❄

It is getting warmer and there are just a few days to go for our Warm Winter Read, but we have one more staff book suggestion and reading hack!

This week Jenny's book recommendation is And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie.

"Like several of Agatha Christie’s other titles, this story has strong ties to a children’s poem “ten little soldiers”. It takes on a darker version of the poem as ten strangers get bumped off one by one. Agatha Christie used her signature move of using multiple red herrings throwing her readers off the possibility of different possible culprits as the murderer. I thoroughly enjoyed the back stories of the different victims. She kept me in suspense until the last chapter when all was revealed, the who, the why and of course the how."

💡Jenny's reading hack: Life's too short to read the wrong book. If you are not sure the book is for you then read the first chapter. The first chapter says a lot about where the story is going, so if it doesn't grab you then it might be the wrong book. It's ok to put it down and try another.
