Last year, you shared with us what matters most when it comes to waste and recycling in Kingston ♻️

That feedback helped shape the Draft Waste Strategy, which sets out how we will deliver reliable, sustainable, and good-value services while improving recycling, reducing waste, and tackling illegal dumping.

Now it’s time to take a look and share feedback to ensure it reflects the community's needs and priorities.

Have your say by Tuesday 30 June at yourkingstonyoursay.com.au/future-waste

Last week, all 79 councils across Victoria met for the Municipal Association’s State Council 🤝

Mayor Georgina Oxley and Deputy Mayor Sarah O’Donnell led debate on several important issues. They called for better, more frequent buses, greater funding for homelessness services and an embargo on the redevelopment of former golf courses - all issues were met with strong, in some cases unanimous support.
