Congratulations to Brett and all recipients. Very well deserved.

Yesterday was International Firefighters’ Day, also known as St Florian’s Day. We want to recognise the dedication, courage and sacrifice of firefighters across South Australia and around the world. 🧑‍🚒

Every day, CFS volunteers and personnel put their communities first, often in challenging and unpredictable conditions, giving their time, skills and, at times, their own safety to protect others.

We also proudly acknowledge this year’s recipients of CFS Chief Officer Awards, CFS Service Medals and National Medals, recognising outstanding service, leadership and commitment to duty. Their actions reflect the very best of the CFS and the values we stand for.

We thank all of our members for their service, and we remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. ❤️‍🔥
