Good afternoon everyone. Unfortunately, no Friday Facebook Live this afternoon. Just a few notices:
* Word of the week is 'disgruntled'. One teacher told me they were feeling disgruntled as they found it hard to use this word in context with their class! A great example for the word.
* This week is Chaplaincy Week and we thank our amazing Chappy Joe for all he does for the school. Along with some other staff, I look forward to the Chaplaincy Dinner on Monday 8th June to hear more stories of how chaplains support students in many schools across our region.
* I had lunch with three awesome students from 2/3 on Wednesday who traded super doopers - they were so excited. Thanks for being great Kingsthorpe kids
* Tuesday 16th is the P-2 Sports Carnival and Wednesday 17th June is the 3-6 Carnival. We invite parents to attend and support students on these days. We'll have more information in next week's newsletter with programs. Remember the meal deals for the days as well.
* Attendance is so important - teachers are completing assessments for upcoming report cards. Keep kids home if they are sick. At school when well for learning.
Enjoy the weekend and stay warm.
Mr Thompson - Principal.
